Shipping and Returns

Processing and Delivery
We know that once you place your order you will be eager to receive your Karuansarai accessories, so all orders are processed and dispatched as soon as possible after receiving payment. We will notify you by e-mail or phone as soon as possible should there be any problems regarding your order or delays in delivery. If we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you within 2 days to arrange alternative delivery.
We do fulfill international orders. There are no known restrictions on our products overseas.
Normal Delivery (within Australia) with Australia Post will take 3-5days, however if you choose Express Post you will receive it the next day! (Note: this service is not available to remote areas).
All items purchased from Karuansarai are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means once we have passed items to Australia Post the risk of loss/damage for all purchases becomes your responsibility.
 
Postal Charges
(Australian and International Deliveries)
All postal charges are calculated automatically according to the product weight and destination using Australia Post charges for both Domestic and International deliveries.
Within Australia you can choose to have your parcel delivered via parcel post registered parcel post (signature required) or express post.
 
(International Deliveries)
Karuansarai delivers Worldwide. International customers will receive their purchases to their doorstep by Air Mail usually within 4-14 business days. You can choose to insure your parcel for an additional cost. Postage fees are as per Australia Post rates.
Should any import duties or taxes be incurred these are beyond our control and are the responsibility of the receiver.
 
Missing Parcels
Australia Post only offers a maximum of $50 compensation for missing Standard or Express Post parcels. Therefore it is advised that if your order is greater than this amount you choose an alternative method of delivery that requires you to sign for your parcel.
 
Returns and Exchanges

 

If you are not happy with a product purchased, Karuansarai will gladly exchange it (not including postage costs) as long as product/s are returned as new i.e. unused, undamaged and in their original packaging and returned within 30 days of purchase.
Due to health reasons, Karuansarai cannot accept exchanges on earrings unless the received order is incorrect or the product is faulty.
Please note there are no returns on sale items unless they are faulty.
Faulty items must be returned within 7 days of receipt will be refunded (by crediting your original method if payment, excluding delivery costs) via the following method:
  1. Contact Karuansarai by phone or e-mail (found under “contact details” and we will provide a return Authorisation (RA) number
  2. Post the package to Karuansarai, 42 Donald Street, Leyburn, QLD, 4365
  3. Returns will not be processed without an RA number.
