Information Provided by You
If you purchase goods and services from Karuansarai or create a membership account with us, we may require you to provide your name, address, email address, credit card number or other details ("customer information"). We may subsequently require further details to enable the processing of any orders that you make. You agree to provide Karuansarai with current, complete and accurate customer information when asked to do so by the website or an employee of Karuansarai.
Membership
A Karuansarai member may not have more than one active membership, whether this is by use of name, email address, an alias or combination thereof. If you breach this condition, you may be liable for the recovery of any benefits obtained this way, such as gift vouchers, promotional benefits and the value therein.
Membership accounts are non-transferable. You may update, edit or terminate your membership account at any time. You agree to maintain and update the information as supplied by yourself to ensure accuracy at all times.
As a Karuansarai member, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own membership account and password. You agree to take responsibility for all activities that occur under your membership account and password.
Product Information
Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed on the Karuansarai website are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice.
We will always attempt to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing. However, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions or other content of the website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free.
Payment Methods:
Karuansarai accepts payments by the following methods:
- Credit cards online: Visa and MasterCard.
- Direct Deposit. We can provide you with our banking details to make a deposit. Purchases will be dispatched after funds appear in the Karuansarai bank account (usually 1-2 days). When you go through the checkout process you will see our bank account details.
If payment is not received on despatch the order may be cancelled.
Pricing
All prices are in Australian Dollars and are GST inclusive.
Karuansarai reserves the right to change prices without notice.
Processing and Delivery
We know that once you place your order you will be eager to receive your Karuansarai accessories, so all orders are processed and dispatched as soon as possible after receiving payment. We will notify you by e-mail or phone as soon as possible should there be any problems regarding your order or delays in delivery. If we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you within 2 days to arrange alternative delivery.
We do fulfill international orders. There are no known restrictions on our products overseas.
Normal Delivery (within Australia) with Australia Post will take 3-5days, however if you choose Express Post you will receive it the next day! (Note: this service is not available to remote areas).
All items purchased from Karuansarai are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means once we have passed items to Australia Post the risk of loss/damage for all purchases becomes your responsibility.

All postal charges are calculated automatically according to the product weight and destination using Australia Post charges for both Domestic and International deliveries.
Within Australia you can choose to have your parcel delivered via parcel post, cash on delivery, registered parcel post (signature required) or express post.

Karuansarai delivers Worldwide. International customers will receive their purchases to their doorstep by Air Mail usually within 4-14 business days. You can choose to insure your parcel for an additional cost. Postage fees are as per Australia Post rates.
Should any import duties or taxes be incurred these are beyond our control and are the responsibility of the receiver.
Missing Parcels
Australia Post only offers a maximum of $50 compensation for missing Standard or Express Post parcels. Therefore it is advised that if your order is greater than this amount you choose an alternative method of delivery that requires you to sign for your parcel.
Returns and Exchanges
If you are not happy with a product purchased, Karuansarai will gladly exchange it (not including postage costs) as long as product/s are returned as new i.e. unused, undamaged and in their original packaging and returned within 30 days of purchase.
Please note there are no returns on sale items unless they are faulty.
Faulty items must be returned within 7 days of receipt will be refunded (by crediting your original method if payment, excluding delivery costs) via the following method:
- Contact Karuansarai by phone or e-mail (found under “contact details” and we will provide a return Authorisation (RA) number
- Post the package to Karuansarai, 42 Donald Street, Leyburn, QLD, 4365
- Returns will not be processed without an RA number.
